Name the renewal
Choose Renewal and give it a title you’ll recognise without opening the details.
Save the action date
Enter the date you need to remember. Keep it one-time or choose an allowed repeating schedule.
Leave time to decide
Add notes and reminders far enough ahead to review the provider’s information.
Will Daytely renew or cancel anything for me?
No. It records the date and reminds you. Any renewal, cancellation or payment still happens with the provider.
Does Renewal automatically repeat every year?
No. Under the current event rules, new Renewal events start as one-time. Choose monthly or yearly if that matches the arrangement you want to track.
Should I save the expiry date or the date I need to act?
Save the date most useful for your action and explain it in the title or notes. Check the provider’s actual terms for any separate notice or cancellation deadline.
How is this different from Subscription?
Renewal is a flexible reminder for a renewal decision. Subscription adds optional provider, amount and currency fields and starts with a monthly schedule.
What about domain names?
There is a dedicated Domain renewal type with a required domain-name field and an optional registrar URL. Its page explains how to set that up.
