Scope
This policy describes the Daytely public website and application. The application processes account details, contacts, important dates, reminders, Circle sharing records, security activity and subscription records needed to provide the service. The Daytely team handles this information and website submissions. Contact us using the contact form with Privacy request as the subject.
Information you provide
Invite requests collect your name and email. Newsletter subscriptions collect your email and your subscription consent. Contact requests collect your name, email, chosen subject and message. Each saved record includes a submission identifier, timestamp and the version of the privacy notice acknowledged. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Why we use it
We use invite details to manage interest and contact you about access; contact details to review and respond to enquiries; and newsletter details to send updates you requested. An invite request does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, newsletter messages rely on your consent, responses relate to your request, and basic abuse prevention supports our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website.
Storage and basic security
Submissions are stored in files on the website server, outside the public web directory. The forms use validation, request verification and submission limits. For abuse prevention, the server creates a keyed hash of the connecting IP address and stores a short-lived request count. Raw IP addresses are not included in submission records. Hosting providers may keep their own request and security logs.
Cookies, payments and third-party services
The website uses an essential session cookie to protect forms and display submission results. Google Analytics helps us understand public-site use and may process page, browser and device information. Razorpay processes subscription checkout, payment, mandate and refund information under its own privacy terms; Daytely stores provider references, payment status, amount, currency and receipt records needed to provide Premium and meet legal obligations. Fonts are served locally. See the cookie policy for details.
Sharing
Submission data is intended for the Daytely team and service providers involved in operating the website or handling requested communications. This website does not sell submission information. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect legitimate rights and security. Hosting location and provider arrangements should be considered before submitting information across borders.
Retention
Invite requests are kept while they are needed to manage early-access interest. Newsletter details are kept while a subscription remains active. Contact messages are kept while needed to handle and follow up on the enquiry. You may request deletion through the contact form. Abuse-prevention entries expire after one hour and are cleared on subsequent submissions. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Your choices
Use the contact form with Privacy request to ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw newsletter consent. For newsletter removal you can also choose Newsletter unsubscribe. We may need to verify your request before changing records. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children and updates
This website is not directed at children. Please do not submit a child’s personal details. If you believe such information has been submitted, contact us to request removal. We will update this notice as our practices change and display the revised date here.
For a privacy question or request, please contact the Daytely team.
