A NOTE FOR LATER

Bring the reference photos. Leave a little travel time.

An illustrative example. Make the details your own.

A LITTLE CONTEXT

A time in the calendar. Less to carry in your head.

An appointment usually comes with a few extra details: where you’re going, what you need to bring, who you’re meeting. Keep those details beside the date. A reminder ahead of time can help you prepare, rather than simply tell you the moment has arrived.

A FEW WAYS TO MAKE IT YOURS

Little moments. Real life.

01

A booking made weeks ago

Keep the appointment time and a note about anything you were asked to bring.

02

A meeting across timezones

Choose the event’s timezone so the time has a clear context.

03

A regular visit

Where the schedule fits, use monthly or yearly recurrence instead of creating the same reminder again.

FROM A THOUGHT TO A SAVED DATE

Give it a little place in Daytely.

Once you have application access, here’s how to get started.

  1. Choose Appointment

Add it on its own, or connect it to a contact if a person belongs with the plan.

  2. Set when and where

Enter a date, the required event time and a timezone. Add a location or notes if useful.

  3. Choose your lead time

Use minute, hour, day or week reminders to suit the appointment and how much preparation you need.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Appointments,
a little clearer.

Still wondering about something?

Ask us
Does Daytely book the appointment for me?

No. Arrange the booking with the person or service, then add the confirmed details to Daytely. Saving a date does not book or change anything with the provider.

Do I have to attach a contact?

No. The default Appointment type allows a standalone event. You can attach a contact when that context is useful.

Can I get a reminder an hour before?

Yes. Because an appointment has an event time, you can choose minute or hour offsets, as well as reminders in days or weeks.

Can an appointment repeat?

The built-in rules allow one-time, monthly and yearly schedules. Weekly recurrence is not currently one of those options; save individual dates when needed.

What happens if the provider changes the time?

Update the event yourself when the booking changes. Daytely does not automatically receive appointment changes from the provider.
