GETTING STARTED
Getting started with Daytely
Daytely gives personal milestones and practical deadlines one calm place to live. You can begin with one date; there is no need to rebuild your entire calendar at once.
Choose a date worth helping
Start with something you want advance notice for: a birthday, appointment, renewal or personal milestone. A real example makes the settings easier to understand than an empty tour.
Pick the closest date type
Built-in types provide fields and recurrence that fit the occasion. Birthdays can belong to a person; appointments can include a time; subscriptions can stand on their own. Choose Custom when none of the labels fit.
Add only useful context
Use a recognizable title and add details future you will need. Notes can hold a gift idea, location or provider name. Avoid storing passwords, payment card numbers, medical records or other secrets.
Choose a helpful first reminder
Work backward from the action. A birthday present may need two weeks; a nearby coffee needs a day. You can adjust the reminder later as you learn what feels timely.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A few useful answers.
Do I need to add every date before Daytely is useful?
No. One carefully chosen date is enough to begin, and you can add others when they become relevant.
Should Daytely replace my regular calendar?
Daytely is designed around remembering dates and people. Your calendar can remain the place for a busy hourly schedule.
Can I edit a date later?
Yes. Treat the first setup as a useful starting point rather than a permanent decision.
