Add a little context
Save the anniversary date and use a clear title, such as “Mom & Dad’s anniversary.”
Plan the heads-up
Keep the yearly schedule and choose reminders that leave time for your idea.
Can I remember my parents’ or friends’ anniversary?
Yes. Keep the anniversary with a contact and give it a clear title. The title can name the couple even though the date is associated with one contact.
Does Daytely automatically link both partners?
No. An anniversary date is attached to a contact. Use its title and notes to describe the couple; it does not create a shared couple account.
Will the anniversary come back each year?
Wedding Anniversary starts with yearly recurrence. Review the schedule when saving the date, especially if you have customised the type’s rules.
Can I have an early reminder and one on the day?
Yes. When reminder overrides are allowed, you can choose multiple reminders, such as a week before and on the date itself.
Is this different from an engagement anniversary?
Yes. Engagement Anniversary has its own type, so you can keep the proposal and the wedding as separate moments in the same story.
