A subscription can begin with a useful idea and quietly become part of the background. Months later, you may still be paying for something you no longer use—or happily using something you forgot to appreciate. A short check-in before a renewal helps you make an intentional choice.
Find one upcoming charge
Start small. Look at your account, receipt or renewal email and note the next billing date for one service. Check whether it is monthly or annual, whether the amount changes, and when you would need to cancel or change the plan. The provider's terms are the source to trust for any notice period.
Ask whether it still earns its place
Did you use it recently? Would you choose it again today? Does a different plan fit better? An honest yes is a perfectly good answer. This is not an exercise in cutting every pleasure. It is a chance to keep the things that serve you and release the ones that do not.
Give the next decision enough time
Put the renewal date in Daytely and choose an advance reminder that leaves room to act before a charge. You can also record a small note about what you decided, so the next review starts with context rather than another search through your inbox.
Ten minutes may be enough for one plan. You can come back to the others another day. A little recurring attention is often easier than a big overdue clean-up.
